Our process ensures the swift, secure and ISO 27001 compliant legalisation of your documents

We understand that often you need your documents legalised as soon as possible. Preparing your documents to be legalised by Apostille or Consular Legalisation involves different fees, protocols and requirements, varying from country to country.

We’ll work with you to ensure your documents can be legalised as quickly as possible.

Our team are in close contact with consulates, lawyers and advisers around the world, meaning we can work with them quickly to identify and mitigate any disruptions that could impede the process. De Pinna’s in-house messengers can then securely and swiftly deliver your documents to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and Consulates.

Legalisation by apostille

Documents for use in countries that have ratified the Hague Convention of 5th October 1961 on the legalisation of public documents ONLY REQUIRE legalisation by Apostille at the FCDO.

De Pinna offers the options of hard copy or e-Apostille services.

Hard Copy

An Apostille service whereby documents are personally delivered to the FCDO’s Legalisation Office.

Digital documents are legalised by the FCDO with an electronic “e-Apostille”. For more information please visit the UK government website.

Consular legislation

For countries that have not ratified the Hague Convention of 5th October 1961, documents must be legalised at the Consulate of the relevant country. In many cases, Apostille is still required before Consular Legalisation is affixed. We will advise you on the exact procedures.
